Problem Solving and Mindfulness.
Life is really just problem solving. We drink to solve the problem of thirst. We tell jokes to solve the problem of boredom. We earn money to solve the problem of bills.
Every single decision we make in life is aimed at solving some sort of problem. Mindfulness allows us to recognise when our actions actually cause more problems than they solve and then change our actions accordingly.
When you choose to eat junk food, what’s the problem that you are attempting to solve? Does eating junk really solve the problem? What problems are you causing with this choice?
Most problems have more than one solution. The cause of your problem is not the solution.
