You can get the best surgeon to operate on you and perform bariatric surgery, you can spend hundreds and thousands of dollars on the latest pharmaceuticals and supplements that claim to suppress your appetite and "boost your metabolism", or you can have a diet shake program, or an exercise & weight loss guru tell you what to eat and how to move for 8 weeks so you can get your best bikini body. All of these popular "solutions" to weight loss, never get to the heart of the matter, they miss the point, and fail to address where the real issues lie with food addiction and obesity.
In my experience, the Spudfit program is the only comprehensive program that addresses what I always knew was missing from every single program I tried in my lifelong battle with my weight - that the real issue was what's going on with my THOUGHTS. That "Aha!" moment, when you finally meet a kindred spirit, who has lived your struggles and come out the other side of food addiction, paving the way for so many others lost in that ocean of promises for weight loss solutions. I worked as a weight loss coach years ago after successfully losing a lot of weight. How could I help them when I myself did not have a peaceful relationship with food and continued to be addicted? Andrew "Spudfit" Taylor not only addresses the heart of this complex problem of tackling weight loss, he is the living breathing example of how his program has turned his life around.
A seemingly simple solution to a modern epidemic of food addiction, was to TREAT it like addiction! Take the food out of the equation while still nourishing your body, keep it simple, and heal your thoughts in the process - the weight will take care of itself.
Because Andrew had such an amazing journey, going from depressed, obese Dad, to a picture of health and clarity, I knew I could trust him to coach me on my journey. I had a personal live coaching session with Andrew, and he is the real deal! One of the most genuine people I have ever met, who truly wants to assist you on your path to health. He listened to my concerns and brought me back to the mental aspects of what causes food addictions and weight problems. No question was too challenging.
I found Andrew's online course to be so comprehensive and eye-opening in regards to getting you to ask the questions to understanding what is holding you back. Believe me, in my 43 years, I have spent 38 of those years seeking a solution to my weight problem, and this was the very first time I found the answers in one place.
In this simple yet ingenious method of "just eating potatoes", I began to understand myself and my triggers, my strengths, and my apparent weaknesses. Food was NOT the issue; it was my thoughts around food. No quick fix. No miracle cure. Just address the mental stuff, give your body a source of healthy fuel, and your body will redress the balance.

For the last 25 years I have watched my weight go up, but couldn’t get it to go down. I started Spudtember 25 days ago, and I couldn’t be happier. I already dropped 15 pounds. I am NEVER hungry. I am always calm and satisfied. I buy a 10 pound bag of russet potatoes. Wash them, microwave them, and eat them. Always satisfied. I am the world’s worst sleeper, and this month I have slept better than my entire life. And, the amount of energy I have is fabulous. And no digestive problems. Everything cleared up from the very first day. And has continued. Andrew thank you so much for Everything. Going forward, potatoes will always be my main staple of food.
This month has been life changing. To have Andrew’s previous experience behind his gently guiding us through the mental and physical challenges has been invaluable. His funny and knowledgeable videos are a highlight. Each one encourages more discussion or draws on experiences or themes that have come up on the Group page that week.
We would like to thank Andrew & Mandy for the support of this group! Both my husband & I are down in weight (him 17lbs & me 15lbs) & getting closer to our goals – we are soooo looking forward to Spudtober (that’s what we like to call it) & seeing the results of yet another month of “spuds only”!! We will continue on this journey until we reach our goals! This is the easiest way we have ever lost weight – but more importantly it is teaching us CONTROL.
I'm 26 days in and feel I've gotten beyond cravings, desires, and most the food triggers I held for too long a time. I'm down 20 Lbs. and a lot of the doubters who know what I'm doing are asking questions.
